The Art of Personal Branding: An Elevated Story of an Artisan Home Baker

I have stated it many times and I will say it again—some of my favorite photography projects are those done with fellow creatives. I am a firm believer that the best possible result is achieved when people truly passionate about their crafts come together and contribute their best. Being an empathetic person, I strive to understand others’ stories, paths, and directions for the future. This is my little superpower that I carry through various projects, both commercial and personal.

This personal branding session was done for Natalia, a home baker trusted by thousands of Stockholm residents for years. Word of her visually stunning and delicious creations has spread through the city, and well beyond its limits, like wildfire. My job was to capture and communicate the essence of her brand and, most importantly, the real person behind it. Natalia is a true artist—her deep passion for painting and design flows into every creation, and yes, they taste as extraordinary as they look. She’s perhaps best known for her signature mix cakes—four different slices in one cake, letting everyone at the table discover their favorite. The demand speaks for itself: her waitlist stretches months in advance.

This particular shoot features Natalia at work on a wedding cake in her home studio—a space that reflects the same warmth and care she puts into every detail. You’ll see the creation of the centerpiece, the base, and hints of inspiration for the finishing touches that were yet to come. The final design is deliberately absent—an open ending that leaves you curious about what Natalia makes next. That feeling of anticipation is part of the magic. Her inspiring, boho-infused atmosphere came through naturally on camera; every frame feels like an invitation into her world.
